I've known about this trail for over a year now from the Jerry Schad guide book. And since our favorite mountain range - San Gorgonio is still covered in heavy blanket of snow this was the perfect time to summit the highest point in the Santa Monica Mountains -- Sandstone Peak at 3,111-foot, taking the longer but more enjoyable route via Mishe Mokwa Trail ...
